TITLE: AWARENESS ON CYBER BULLYING AMONG CRIMINOLOGY STUDENTS

ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to determine the awareness of Criminology students on Cyber Bullying. Specifically, it sought to determine the level of awareness of BS Criminology students on Cyber Bullying and the factors affecting their level of awareness. The respondents of the study are the 140 criminology students from different year levels of KSU-College of Criminal Justice Education who were chosen through purposive sampling. The needed data was gathered using questionnaire and an informal interview was also conducted to validate responses from questionnaires. The data collected were analysed using the descriptive statistical tool such as average, percentage and ranking. The result of the study shows that the 4th year, 3rdyear, and 2nd year students are much aware of the Cyber Bullying Acts while 1st year Criminology students are less aware.
TITLE: INDEX CRIME IN BALBALAN

ABSTRACT
This descriptive study looked into the Index Crimes of Balbalan for the period of 5 years. It focused on the frequency of crimes committed in Balbalan, status of crimes committed in Balbalan in the span of 5 years and the process of addressing the crimes committed. The data was gathered using questionnaires, informal interview and document analysis. Physical injury appeared to be the most committed crime in Balbalan, all crimes were amicably settled and that the most preferred way of addressing crimes was through the Barangay Justice System following the principles and procedures of the Bodong System. Thus, Balbalan is peaceful in terms of number of crimes committed and that the customs and traditions of Balbalanplay a very important role in addressing crimes.
