KSU- Office of the Department of Languages conducts Seminar- Workshop on Kalinga Linguistics and Multi-lingual Education

Through the initiative of the University Language Department chaired by Ms. Lourdes Adeline Nicole Y. Cosmiano, with her members, Dr. Mary Joyce Wangiwang, the Director for Students Services and Placement Service and Ms. Marie Joy Garming, a seminar- workshop on Kalinga Linguistics and Multi-lingual Education was conducted among the Language professors yesterday at the Research and Development Conference Hall.

Collaboration Discussions with Texas A&M University where he engaged in fruitful discussions with officials from Texas A&M University in Houston, exploring potential collaborations in the training of faculty and students, particularly in the field of Animal Science.

Empowering Security Personnel: SAFE Skills Project Culminates in Success

The SAFE Skills project, initiated by Kalinga State University's College of Criminal Justice Education and the Department of Languages, in collaboration with the Provincial Local Government of Kalinga and the Criminologist Association of the Philippines-Kalinga Chapter, reaches its conclusion yesterday, March 14, 2024. Launched in November 2023, the project aimed to enhance the skill set of security personnel within the Provincial Local Government.

KSU-ODETTEIL Participates in Regional Orientation on Legitimacy Guidelines for Travel in Compliance with Executive Order No. 77

In line with Executive Order No. 77 and the prudent allocation of resources, the Office of Distance Education, Transnational Education, and International Linkages, under the directorship of Dr. Pinky L. Gas-ib, diligently participated in the Regional Orientation on Guidelines for the Legitimacy of Travel for State Universities and Colleges (SUCs). This event took place from March 19-22, 2024, in Sorsogon City.

The Kalinga State University proudly accepted the Certificate of Appreciation bestowed by the Government Procurement Policy Board-Technical Support Office (GPPB-TSO), recognizing its significant contributions to the successful execution of the Public Procurement Specialist Certification Course since the calendar year 2018.

Advancing Research Excellence: Fostering Internationalization Through Scholarly Endeavors

Kalinga State University recently hosted a comprehensive research training program titled "Connecting to the World: Internationalization through words," aimed at enhancing the global reach and impact of academic research. The program, spearheaded by proponents Ms. Ethel Jovy G. Wacas, Ms. Abigail Q. Ocay, Dr. Pinky Larcelle L. Gas-ib, and Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor was designed with key objectives in mind.
