KSU Hosts COMELEC-Kalinga’s 2024 Voter Education and ACM Demonstration

The leadership of KSU Preisdent, Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang was commended earlier today, September 16, 2024, by Commission on Elections (COMELEC) City Election Officer, Atty. Reyman A. Solbita, as he facilitated the COMELEC-Kalinga's 2024 Voter Education and Registration Fair and Automated Counting Machine (ACM) Demonstration at Kalinga State University Gymnasium.

Kalinga State University CEIT Launches C.E.I.T.W.O.W. Projects to Empower DepEd-ALS Learners

Kalinga State University's College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) marked a significant milestone today, September 4, 2024, with the launch of the C.E.I.T.W.O.W. Projects for the Department of Education's Alternative Learning System (DepEd-ALS). This three-day event is centered on the theme "Intensifying Digital Citizenship," reflecting the college's commitment to fostering essential skills among ALS learners and implementers.

NSQCS-CAR Leads Ceremonial Tagging of Certified Coffee Robusta Mother Trees at Kalinga State University

The National Seed Quality Control Services (NSQCS) Cordillera Administrative Region Satellite conducted a ceremonial tagging of Coffee Robusta Mother Trees on September 4, 2024, at the Kalinga State University Clonal Nursery, Bulanao Campus.

The event was attended by representatives from NSQCS-CAR, the Department of Agriculture (DA), the Agricultural Program Coordinating Office (APCO) - Kalinga, the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) CAR, the High Value Crops Program, private coffee enthusiasts, KSU officials, and faculty and staff from the College of Forestry.

KSU Inks Partnership with Tabuk City IPMR

Kalinga State University (KSU), represented by the University President, Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang, has signed a memorandum of agreement with the City Government of Tabuk. The agreement was facilitated through the Sangguniang Panlungsod and the Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR), represented by City IPMR Benigno Duyan. The signing ceremony took place today, September 2, 2024, at the University Cultural Heritage and Edu-Tourism Center.

KSU inks partnership with DSWD FO CAR

The Kalinga State University, represented by the University Placent Officer and Guidance Councilor, Ms. Lovelia Iringan and the Director for Gender and Development, Ms. Irene Daguasi, together with other private and public Higher Education Institution in Cordillera Administrative Region, entered into a new agreement with the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office, CAR as collaborating partners for recruitment, selection and placement as well as student internship on August 27, 2024 at the DSWD FO CAR Training Center, Baguio City.

Kalinga State University Receives Certificate of Recognition from Civil Service Commission for Recruitment, Selection, and Placement Standards

The Civil Service Commission-CAR has awarded a Certificate of Recognition to Kalinga State University (KSU) for achieving Maturity Level 2 indicators under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM). This recognition highlights KSU’s commitment to upholding high standards in human resource management, particularly in the areas of recruitment, selection, and placement. The award ceremony took place today, August 29, 2024, at the university’s alumni center.

Philippine Normal University and Kalinga State University Renew Partnership to Promote Global Citizenship Education

In a significant move to advance global citizenship education, the Philippine Normal University (PNU) and Kalinga State University (KSU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a renewal of formal partnership between the two esteemed institutions. The signing ceremony, held today, was attended by PNU President Dr. Bert J. Tuga and KSU Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor and Director for International Affairs, Dr. Pinky Gas-ib.

KSU Forges MOA with IPATH Foundation Inc.

Kalinga State University President, Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang together with the College of Agriculture Dean and project leader, Dr. Ferdinand Ganotice and Ms. Harriet T. Tenda, IPATH Foundation Inc. president successfully signed a Memorandum of Agreement between KSU and IPATH on the establishment of the Hydroponics Facility in the University, today, August 28, 2024, at the first Floor, Research and Development Hall.
