Kalinga State University Non-Teaching Staff Participate in National Clean-Up Day 2024

In observance of National Clean-Up Day 2024, the non-teaching staff of Kalinga State University participated in a community clean-up drive on September 24, 2024. This initiative was spearheaded by the City Environment and Natural Resources Office in collaboration with the Tabuk City Local Government Unit, alongside various government and private agencies.

CHR Conducts Trainer’s Training for KSU Center for Human Rights Education

The Commission on Human Rights- Cordillera Administrative Region (CHR-CAR) successfully conducted a comprehensive training session on the Center for Human Rights Education (CHRE) for designated KSU trainers on September 18-19, 2024. This event took place at the Research and Development Training Hall and was attended by 23 designated KSU CHRE trainers along with student representatives.

Kalinga State University Participates in 124th Philippine CSC Anniversary Tree Growing Program

In celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC) Anniversary, themed "Tree Growing for a Cause: Malasakit sa Kalikasan, Malasakit sa Lingkod Bayani," Kalinga State University employees engaged in a tree planting activity at the KSU Mulberry Farm, Rizal Campus, on September 20, 2024.

S.A.F.E SKILLS TRAINING: Capability training program for provincial security group of the PLGU-Kalinga.

The launching of the S.A.F.E skills capability training program for the Provincial Security Group of the Provincial local government of Kalinga was held at RND Training Hall KSU main Campus, Bulanao.

This undertaking was conceptualized, organized, and implemented by the concerned agencies and offices- The Kalinga State University, the Provincial Local Government of Kalinga and the Professional Criminologist Association of the Philippines, Kalinga Chapter.

Cash for Work Program for students at Kalinga State University

In collaboration with the Office of the Congressman, the Office of the Governor, and Kalinga State University, the Office of Senator Imee R. Marcos, represented by Mr. Regie U. Wacas, formally launched the Cash for Work Program for students at Kalinga State University on September 10, 2024. The event was attended by university officials, led by KSU President Dr. Ed Bagtang, alongside representatives from the Department of Social Welfare and Development, a key partner agency in the initiative. In line with the celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service anniversary, Kalinga State University (KSU) actively participated in the "Blood Donation and Medical Consultation: Let’s Donate Blood Today" event organized by the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU), in partnership with the Provincial Health Office and the Philippine Red Cross - Kalinga Chapter.
