Dawaton officiates send-off mass for the 2022 KSU Bar Examinees

To bestow blessings upon the 2022 Bar examinations, Fr. Romeo Dawaton, a faculty of the College of Law officiated a send-off mass for the 25 KSU Bar Examinees which was held at the Alumni Center on November 3, 2022.

According to Atty Maria Linda Gabit, Faculty of the College of Law, and Alumni Board of Regent, 20 of the examinees will take the examination in Saint Louis University, Baguio City and 5 in Manila.

Said send-off mass was attended by the University President, Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang where he gave an inspirational message to the Examinees, other University Officials, the faculty of the College of Law and the examinees themselves.

It is recalled that during the 2020-2021 Bar Examinations, there were 10 passers out of 26 takers which gave a 40% KSU passing rate and 72.28% national passing rate. This implies that KSU College of Law is competitive despite being a neophyte school of Law.

Dawaton added that it is their usual practice in the college to offer a send-off mass before the Bar examinations where they conducted it virtual during the pandemic.

This year’s Bar examinations is scheduled on November 9, 13, 16, and 20, 2022./UIO
