In a bid to uphold and enhance quality standards within its operations, the KSU- Office of Quality Assurance is currently hosting a comprehensive training seminar on the recalibration of internal quality audits to align with ISO 19011:2018 guidelines. The four-day seminar, running from April 16th to April 19th, 2024, aims to equip internal auditors with updated knowledge and skills essential for maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS).
Partnering with the Development Academy of the Philippines, the seminar focuses on reviewing the ISO 9001:2015 standards and documentation requirements. Participants will delve into the intricacies of internal quality audits, understanding their roles, and the myriad benefits they bring to a QMS. Moreover, attendees will gain insights into the activities and requirements outlined by ISO 19011, the internationally recognized standard for internal auditing, ensuring conformity and efficiency in audit processes.
Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang, University President, reiterated his usual commitment to quality in his opening remarks, reaffirming its position as a top priority within the university.
