The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) recently held an integration workshop for higher education leaders and faculty from the Philippines who participated in a cross-visit to several prestigious institutions in Singapore from November 13-17, 2023. The workshop provided a platform for 23 participants to present their key observations and insights gathered from visits to The HEAD Foundation, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Social Sciences, and Republic Polytechnic.

Representing Kalinga State University (KSU), Dr. Robert A. Rodolfo, Campus Administrator of KSU Main Campus, and Ms. Ehrol C. Bayed, Campus Administrator of KSU Rizal Campus, contributed to group discussions that integrated Singaporean strategies on innovative programs, policies, and educational systems. These insights aim to guide Philippine HEIs in adopting best practices suited to their institutional contexts. Through these exchanges, KSU and other participating universities are set to enhance their educational approaches, aligning more closely with global standards and fostering incredible innovation and flexibility in higher education.
