KSU Bags Awards in 2024 Reg'l PESO YEPA

Baguio City—The Kalinga State University clinched awards during the 2024 Regional PESO YEPA Nights of Awards and Recognition of the Department of Labor and Employment- Cordillera Administrative Region (DOLE -CAR) held on Feb. 6, 2025, at the Newtown Plaza Hotel.

KSU and its PESO Manager, Lovelia R. Iringan, were accorded the 2024 Best PESO under the Job Placement Office category. The university also received awards for having the highest number of DOLE programs implemented and the greatest number of partnerships, memberships, and networking activities under the JPO category.

In addition, the university garnered the 2024 Career Guidance and Employment Coaching Award in recognition of its outstanding accomplishment in the conduct of career and employment coaching activities in the province. KSU was also given the 2024 Labor Market Information Award for its exemplary efforts in the dissemination of labor market information.

The awards received by KSU, for three consecutive years, are testaments to the university's wholehearted and unwavering support in the promotion and implementation of the DOLE Programs and Services. These awards highlight KSU's commitment to the provision of quality career and employment services and assistance to the yKalingas.

The Night of Awards and Recognition is one of the highlights of the 2024 Regional Public Employment Service Office Year-End Performance Assessment of DOLE CAR, recognizing the outstanding efforts and contributions of the different PESOs and JPOs in the region. The event was graced by the new Regional Director of DOLE CAR, Imelda E. Romanillos, CESE and other dignitaries from DOLE Regional Office.
