Three non-teaching employees were awarded certificates of recognition from the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE). Said recognitions were awarded by the University President, Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor. It was received by the head of the Security Services, Mr. Joel Cubit, today, October 14, 2024, during the flag raising ceremony.
Mr. Junie Ambasing, a member of the ground maintenance team, assigned at the General Services Office, was commended for his exemplary honesty after finding and returning a law student's lost laptop during his duty. Likewise, Mr. Ariel C. Aplod, a security guard, was recognized for his integrity and diligence in retrieving and returning a wallet containing cash, which belonged to Mr. Hadji Rayver B. Wanason. Additionally, Mr. Evander Shade G. Buminsao was acknowledged for his commendable actions in finding and returning a Vivo phone owned by Mr. Dexter Dumawing. These acts of honesty and responsibility reflect the university’s core values of service orientation and commitment, setting a high standard for ethical conduct within the KSU community.
A spot award is a spontaneous acknowledgment of outstanding performance and exemplary behavior, reflecting the university’s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and integrity among its employees.
Meanwhile, in her message, President Doctor emphasized the importance of employees consistently fulfilling their duties and responsibilities in their respective areas.
