In compliance with Memorandum from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, Kalinga State University participated in the 4th quarter nationwide simultaneous earthquake drill with the practice of Duck, Cover and Hold procedure.

Dr. Edna P. Yumol, Bulanao Campus Administrator, gave a directive to the 3 campuses to join said activity today within their campus premises.

This activity within the university aims to prepare employees and students to understand the school's emergency procedures for disasters and to ensure their safety on the unexpected onslaught of earthquake.

Said activity was successfully done within the 3 campuses as there was no untoward incident happened during its conduct.

Earthquake drill is a quarterly nationwide simultaneous activity which is based on the NDRRMC Memorandum no. 21 s. 2022. /UIO
