KSU Quality Assurance and Planning, Development, and Strategy Offices Host SWOT Analysis and Risk Management Workshops for University Officials

To address and devise action plans for areas falling short of their targets, the Quality Assurance and Planning Office organized a comprehensive training workshop for university officials and unit heads on August 15-16, 2024, held at the Research and Development Hall.

Dr. Rhonda Veil Leyaley, Director for Quality Assurance, presented the objectives and rationale behind the two-day seminar-workshops.

The first day focused on presenting the Medium-Term Development Plan (MTDP) indicators and targets for incorporation into the Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR) documents, with Engr. Rhonjhon Garming and Ms. Ana Allig from the Planning and Strategy Office serving as key lecturers.

Day two was focused on Cause Analysis and SWOT Analysis, as well as Risk and Opportunity Registry discussions, led by Ms. Ana Allig and Dr. Ronald Wacas, respectively. The sessions included interactive workshops where participants developed and presented their outputs.

Meanwhile, participants were inspired by the message from Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang, the University President, who emphasized the importance of strategically focusing on achieving targets within their respective plans.
