The Kalinga State University-Laboratory High School held its Recognition Day, Moving-Up, and Graduation Ceremony today, June 14, 2024. This significant event celebrated the achievements of 83 junior students who marched for their moving-up and 108 senior students who received their diplomas as graduates of the senior high school.
With the theme, "Kabataang Pilipino Para sa Matatag na Kinabukasan ng Bagong Pilipinas," KSU President Eduardo T. Bagtang emphasized the role of the youth as agents of change, striving for a strong and stable future for the nation. In his message, he highlighted the importance of the graduates' contributions to both the youth and the country.
Guest of Honor and Speaker, FSINSP. Kevin G. Banawag, MDM, imparted valuable advice to the graduates. He shared a memorable phrase, "To rule yourself is the ultimate power," and underscored the importance of serving God, Country, and People. Furthermore, he stressed four essential attributes for the achievers to maintain throughout their journey: Discipline/Character, Consistency, Self-belief, and the core values of Ykalinga- Paniyaw, Ngilin and Bain.
The ceremony marked a significant milestone for the students, their families, and the KSU community, celebrating the achievements and potential of the future leaders of the Philippines.
