KSU’s Enhancing Industrial Energy Efficiency through Power Factor Correction: A Study on Power Saver Development

September 13, 2024.To optimize energy usage and reduce operational costs, this study investigates the development of a power factor corrector designed to improve the efficiency and reliability of industrial electrical systems. Led by engineers Christian Louie B. Adora and Danilo C. Falgui, this research focuses on correcting the power factor—a measure of how effectively electrical power is converted into usable energy—to minimize reactive power and maximize real power utilization in industrial establishments.

Kalinga State University Launches Initiatives to Enhance Irrigation and Campus Lighting for Community Development and Cultural Preservation

Kalinga State University, in collaboration with the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) and Tabuk City’s IMPR Office under the leadership of Benigno Duyan, is implementing a groundbreaking solar-powered water pump project which was launched on September 3, 2024. With a budget of PHP 10 million, this initiative is set to provide sustainable irrigation to KSU's farms, significantly improving agricultural productivity and ensuring a reliable water supply to the campus.

Kalinga State University Leads the Way: Launching the Pioneering Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) in Cordillera

Kalinga State University is the first SUC to offer Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEAP) which was launched today at KSU Dagupan Campus.

Said activity was spearheaded by Mr. Rodolfo B. Tucay, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and Dr. Pinky Larcelle L. Gas-ib, Coordinator of ETEEAP and Director for Distance Education, Transnational Education and International Linkages.
