The commencement of the academic year 2023-2024 was marked by a Flag ceremony, accompanied by an insightful orientation provided by the university officials, aimed at guiding, and motivating both incoming freshmen and returning students. The event took place in front of the College of Education building.
Ang KSU ay naglunsad ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa at Kasaysayan na may mga temang "Filipino at mga Katutubong Wika, Wika ng kapayapaan, seguridad, at Ingklusibong Pagpapatupad ng Katarungang Panlipunan" para sa Buwan ng Wika at "Pagpapalaya ng Kasaysayan para sa Sambayanan" para sa Buwan ng Kasaysayan. Ginanap ang paglulunsad sa harap ng Bantayog ng Wika, Administration Building kahapon, Agosto 14, 2023.
Ang paglulunsad ay nagsimula sa isang Banal na Misa na pinangasiwaan ni Pastor Romulo Banggawan Jr. ng Church of Christ.

The team visited three prestigious universities – Nueva Vizcaya State University, Central Luzon State University, and Tarlac Agricultural University – to learn, exchange ideas, and enhance the student support services provided by Kalinga State University.
Despite the unexpected challenge posed by Typhoon Egay, Kalinga State University demonstrated unwavering resilience and determination as it weathered the storm and successfully reached the finale of its 2-day hybrid “Conference on Gender Studies”. Held on July 27-28, 2023, the conference was hosted by Kalinga State University, spearheaded by the Dinayao Center under the leadership of its director, Dr. Irene Calsiyao, in collaboration with KSU GAD, led by Director Ms. Irene Daguasi, and with the support of various committees.
