Kalinga State University Conducts Water Quality Assessment of the Chico River

June 6, 2024. In collaboration with the National Irrigation Administration-Kalinga, the Kalinga State University Shared Service Facility-Food and Analytical Laboratory (SSF-FAL) recently undertook a comprehensive water quality assessment of the Chico River. This initiative aims to monitor and maintain the river's health, ensuring it remains safe for both ecological sustainability and agricultural purposes.

Kalinga State University Launches Initiatives to Enhance Irrigation and Campus Lighting for Community Development and Cultural Preservation

Kalinga State University, in collaboration with the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) and Tabuk City’s IMPR Office under the leadership of Benigno Duyan, is implementing a groundbreaking solar-powered water pump project which was launched on September 3, 2024. With a budget of PHP 10 million, this initiative is set to provide sustainable irrigation to KSU's farms, significantly improving agricultural productivity and ensuring a reliable water supply to the campus.

KSU General Services and Health Services Offices Initiate University-Wide General Cleaning and Misting

In response to a recent dengue fever outbreak, Kalinga State University Bulanao Campus conducted a comprehensive clean-up drive and misting operation across all campus premises. This initiative was spearheaded by Ms. Sharmaine Codiam, Head of the General Services Office in collaboration with the University Physician, Dr. Maria Linda Gavino of the university Health Services Office and the Provincial Health Office.

Every Friday is scheduled Clean Up Drive for the KSU Non- Teaching Staff

Every Friday, the KSU Non-Teaching Staff participates in a scheduled Clean Up Drive, ensuring the cleanliness of our surroundings. Each member commits at least one hour to the endeavor, tidying their respective areas. This initiative not only upholds their commitment to cleanliness but also fosters a sense of pride and responsibility among the non- teaching team.

UNIVERSITY GREEN: Guardianship for Responsible Environmental Education Network

Guardianship for Responsible Environmental Education Network seminar commenced today which is scheduled April 3-5, 2024, at KSU- RnD Hall, Bulanao Campus. The participants of said seminar are the Student Leaders, Non-Teaching, Utility workers, All Deans, Program Chairs and University Officials accordingly. Today is scheduled for the student leaders.

KSU Launches University GREEN Initiative to Combat Environmental Challenges

In response to the pressing environmental challenges exacerbated by the prevailing heatwave in the province, Kalinga State University unveiled a comprehensive three-day training program titled University GREEN (Guardianship for Responsible Environmental Education Network) from April 3-5, 2024.

Leading the charge were equally gorgeous figures within KSU's leadership hierarchy, including Dr. Lope T. Buen, Vice President for Research and Training; Mrs. Melanie S. Manuel and Dr. Rhonda Vail G. Leyaley, Director for Quality Assurance.

Kalinga State University Leads the Way: Launching the Pioneering Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) in Cordillera

Kalinga State University is the first SUC to offer Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEAP) which was launched today at KSU Dagupan Campus.

Said activity was spearheaded by Mr. Rodolfo B. Tucay, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and Dr. Pinky Larcelle L. Gas-ib, Coordinator of ETEEAP and Director for Distance Education, Transnational Education and International Linkages.
