In a significant stride towards advancing the development of the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), KSU President Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang, together with other CAR-SUCs Presidents, convened a crucial meeting with Senator Loren Legarda at the Senate in Manila yesterday. The meeting aimed to discuss and seek possible funding for the proposed CAR-SUC projects—an outcome of their previous meeting with DBM Secretary Pangandaman held in Baguio City on April 26, 2023.

Displaying an unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation, KSU has secured its position among the top 200 universities worldwide, surging from its previous rank of 195 to an impressive rank of 162. The accomplishment is even more noteworthy considering the heightened level of difficulty in this year's evaluation process.

KSU- CLASS Receives Certificate of Institutional Membership from the National Association for Social Work Education, Inc.

The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences has achieved a significant milestone in the field of social work education as it was awarded the Certificate of Institutional Membership by the National Association for Social Work Education, Inc. (NASWEI) on April 23, 2023, signed by the Association President, Dr. Bella Patricia G. Osalvo.

KSU Celebrates Guidance Week with a Focus on Self-Care and Resiliency

KSU- Counselling, Testing, and Placement Center (CTPC) kicked off their annual Guidance Week Celebration today with a vibrant opening program held in front of the College of Education (COED) building during the flag ceremony. This year's theme, "I Matter: Caring and Loving Ourselves through Building Resiliency," aims to promote self-care and mental well-being among students, faculty, and staff.

KSU Appoints Dr. Maria Linda Gabit Gavino, Distinguished Medical Doctor and Lawyer, as New University Physician

In a significant development, the university announced the appointment of Dr. Maria Linda Gabit Gavino as its new physician. Dr. Gavino, a highly accomplished medical doctor and lawyer, took the oath of office today, May 2, 2023, at the university president's office. It is recalled that she took her first oath on April 17, 2023 as it was the effectivity of her appointment and assumption to work. Today's oath taking is an enactment with the presence of her family.
