Kalinga State University Celebrates Family Day and President's Birthday with Thanksgiving Mass

In time for the celebration of the Family Day and the birthday of the University President, Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang, Kalinga State University organized a family and thanksgiving mass at the Bantayog ng Wika, Administration Building yesterday. The mass, officiated by Father Romeo Dawaton, centered around the theme of LIGHT, symbolizing the President's embodiment of God's guiding light.

During his homily, Father Dawaton emphasized how Dr. Bagtang, as the University President, has illuminated the paths of countless individuals, leading them to success in their chosen careers. Furthermore, the university itself has flourished under his leadership, shining brightly in its core areas of Instruction, Research, Extension, and Production.

As part of the ceremony, a special blessing was bestowed upon the athletes and coaches who will proudly represent the university in the upcoming SCUAA (State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association) event and the blessing of the newly acquired university vehicle. The mass was attended by both the supportive teaching and non-teaching staff, fostering a sense of unity and gratitude within the university.
